But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.Isaiah 40:31

Less than a month to go!!

Well I've officially become one of those people who work from home...and I love it!  I can get so much done workwise in a day, and when I'm waiting for my stuff to build (as I am doing now), I can do laundry, get a snack or play with Scout.  It's awesome.  I'm only working 1/2 of next week, and then its all wedding planning time.  I got a few more things to wrap up, then I'm done.  I can't wait to be done planning.  It was fun, but kinda stressful at the same time.  Hope it's worth it!

We had the bachelorette party this weekend.  We had SO much fun.  We went to Bastrop and stayed in a house there, went hiking, spa-ing and then eating in Austin.  We played a bunch of games that Christy and Karen made...so great!  It was kinda cool having friends from all different times of my life all in one place.  I hope I don't speak for myself when I say that we had a blast!

Less than 6 months to go!!

Well, I think the bulk of the stress is over.  Got the church, the reception hall, the invitations and the photographer, and I've even finished all the flowers...but there's still a million things more to go.  It's been a lot of fun though.  I wish I could quit my day job and just become a wedding planner.  How fun would that be?

Keith finally got the job he wanted and he started on Monday.  He only worked an 80 hour week this week, and we're hoping it gets better from here on out.  The only part that sucks is that this job is in Dallas!  Gross!  I just got back from there.  I will move up there after the wedding in August. We are hoping to find a house by then and maybe decorating a new house will help with the whole Dallas move.  I'm probably going to try to get my job back at Raytheon.  I still have a couple friends there, and at least I'd know all the ropes there...plus it couldn't get any worse than the company I'm currently at!  Makes Raytheon look like heaven!

Not much else is going on.  Weekends are getting booked up fast.  I think I have all the way through the end of March packed with stuff every weekend!  Crazy!  It's been fun so far though, no major freakouts or anything, hopefully I can remain calm through the whole thing.  I don't know how people plan a wedding out of town.  I can only imagine how crazy that would be.

Anyway, hope everyone is doing well!  I don't know about ya'll but I'm ready for some warm weather!!

KEITH & I ARE ENGAGED!!!!

Keith & I got engaged on Saturday!  Yay!  We spent the weekend in Galveston, and after going to Olive Garden for dinner (where we had our first date), we took a walk on the beach, where he got down on one knee and proposed while the volcano from the Rainforest Cafe lit up the sky.  Even though he tried to put the ring on the wrong finger it was still perfect.

I have no other news that would beat that...so maybe I'll just leave it at that.

Overtime is going to kill me...

Wow.  I barely have time to breathe these days.  I can't remember the last week I actually worked 40 hours.  I never thought the day would come when I would welcome 40 hours a week.  Nothing much happening here.  Spent all Labor Day weekend remodeling a bathroom at my parents' house.  I think I spent 3/4 of the time at Home Depot.  If you ever have a Home Depot emergency and it seems that the Home Depot personnel seem to leave much to desire...go straight to Brandon.  He rules.  Let's see what else?  This past weekend, Keith & I went to the Goo Goo Dolls/Counting Crows concert.  It was awesome.  Well, the Goo Goo Dolls were better than the Counting Crows.  I think of their songs was 20 minutes long!  Ok, well I'd love to chat more, but I have to get back to work.  I've only worked 12 hours of my 16 hour day!

364 days left till the next 4th of July

Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend.  Mine was pretty good.  Fireworks were awesome, as usual.  Way to go Stafford, America and their $1 million show.  Nothing really to report, just wanted to wish everyone a Happy 4th.  I have to work late every day this week plus the weekend, but I definitely want to hear how everyone is doing!  So leave a comment and tell me what's up!
